ChatSDK is a no-code platform that allows businesses to create custom AI-powered chatbots using their own knowledge bases, enabling faster support, internal automation, and conversational access to information.
Most chatbot solutions are either too technical to configure or too generic to be genuinely useful. Teams struggled to build bots that understood their internal knowledge, while managing multiple tools for setup, testing, and deployment added unnecessary friction.
I designed a simple, modular chatbot builder that allows users to upload knowledge sources, configure bot behavior, and deploy conversational agents without technical expertise. The platform balances flexibility with ease of use through guided setup and clear system feedback.
I followed a Design Thinking approach, focusing on reducing setup friction while maintaining transparency in how AI responses are generated.
Mapped end-to-end flows for bot creation, training, testing, and deployment
Designed intuitive interfaces for knowledge base uploads and configuration
Introduced step-based setup to guide non-technical users through complex tasks
Designed preview and testing states to build confidence before deployment

ChatSDK made AI chatbot creation approachable for non-technical teams. The project reinforced the importance of designing AI products with explainability and trust, ensuring users feel in control of automated systems rather than overwhelmed by them.
